At the Market
Can I bring my dog?
Customers/vendors may not bring/keep pets on the market plaza during the market. The Downtown Marquette Farmers Market is licensed as a food establishment and therefore must follow food establishment pet regulations. Service animals are allowed and must be trained in work or a task that mitigates their handler’s disability. All other pets, including therapy and emotional support animals, are not allowed inside the market.
Pets left in a vehicle are subject to enforcement by the Marquette City Police Department.
There is a doggie hitch located on the west end of the plaza near the bike station where you can leash your pet as you shop. It’s best to leave your pet at home!
Where can I park?
There is ample parking located along the market plaza on both the north and south sides. More information can be found here.
Payment Options
Do you accept credit cards?
Vendors are responsible for collecting their own payments. Many vendors accept credit cards, Venmo, PayPal, etc. However, not all vendors accept credit cards. There is an ATM on site shoppers may use. If you are bringing cash with you please be mindful of using small bills. Breaking a $100 bill may deplete a vendor’s petty cash for the day.
Do you have gift cards?
Yes! Gift Cards can be purchased here. All Gift Cards must be redeemed at the Information Booth during regular market hours. All vendors accept gift card payments.
Do you accept Food Assistance?
Yes! Shoppers can shop with a Bridge Card (SNAP, EBT or P-EBT), WIC Project FRESH and Senior Market Fresh coupons, Double up Food Bucks, and Food as Medicine vouchers. Click here for all the programs we participate in.
How do I use my Food Assistance at the Market?
Just show up! Bring your assistance (Bridge Card, P-EBT Card, Project FRESH Coupons, etc) and stop by the Information Booth. We’ll be standing by ready to get you shopping in no time! More information here.
