  • Traunik Farm | Farm Hands

    Time Commitment

    6-20 hours a week, depending on preference.

    Schedule

    Flexible schedule.

    Compensation

    Compensation ($15-20/hr) but depends on experience.

    Housing available on site. We are about 30 minutes from Marquette, Munising and Escanaba. Perfect for someone who has a summer job but wants to work in exchange for free or cheap housing. House can be furnished. Storage available on site.

    Special qualifications required

    2 Farm Hands needed to assist with seeding, planting, harvesting, packaging, irrigation, and other farm tasks, including light construction.

  • Designs By Nature | Greenhouse Assistants

    Time Commitment

    One position is 4-5 days per week, 6-hours per day.

    The other is 2-3 days per week, 6 hours per day.

    Schedule

    Days of week are negotiable.

    Compensation

    $14 to $18 depending on skills and experience.

    Special qualifications required

    Must be able to lift 25 pound crates of plants regularly and 60 pound bales of soil sometimes. Familiarity with handling plants preferred. Knowledge of native plants or greenhouse growing a plus.
