Call for Artists for Wednesday, June 21 Art Market
The Downtown Marquette Farmers Market is partnering with the City of Marquette Office of Arts and Culture to host the third annual Art Market during Art Week at the Wednesday Evening Market on June 21, 2023, from 5-8 PM on the 100 Block of Washington Street.
Qualifications to participate are as follows:
Local and non-local artists are welcome!
All non-food, artisan products sold at the market must be original and created by the artist. Acceptable works include all media painting, photography, fibers, wood, jewelry, metals, wearable art, personal care products, etc. No kits, imports, or re-sale items are permitted.
A Sales Tax license is required to sell any non-edible, tangible product at the market. This document must be uploaded to the market application. If you are in the process of obtaining a license please note this on the application.

Review the Downtown Marquette Farmers Market Market Policies here. All participating artists are expected to abide by the Market Policies. These policies include detailed information about vendor expectations and responsibilities, market logistics and amenities, and more!
Review Vendor Booth fees here. The cost for the Wednesday Evening Market is $30/day. Fees will be invoiced. Payment can be made online or paid day of market attendance via card or check. The market does NOT accept cash.
Submit an application on the market’s website here: https://www.mqtfarmersmarket.com/apply and select “Art Week Guest Vendor” as the vendor classification.
All vendors will receive an “Approved” or “Declined” email with the next steps after their application has been processed.
All approved vendors are expected to provide their own tent and table and are responsible for their own sales. More information about size specifications and vendor expectations can be found in the Market Policies.
