Wednesday Evening Street Market Starts June 21
The first market of the Downtown Marquette Wednesday Evening Farmers Market’s 24th season is next Wednesday, June 21, from 5 PM-8 PM on the 100 block of W. Washington St.
The Wednesday Evening Farmers Market is shutting down the 100 block of W. Washington St. in Downtown Marquette to bring a new festive experience to the market and to the downtown every Wednesday this summer season.
Shoppers will be greeted with a bustling street market offering a wide array of vendors from across the community every Wednesday. Shoppers can choose from fresh, locally grown, seasonal produce, baked goods, locally raised meat and eggs, kombucha, coffee, bread, and more! Our artisans offer handcrafted goods such as soaps, lotions, jewelry, woodworking products, and knitter products, to name a few. The Information Booth is located at the entrance at the intersection of Washington and Third St.
The new Downtown Marquette Social District will be active during this time and extended into the street to offer Farmers Market attendees the opportunity to shop amongst the vendors with an alcoholic beverage purchased from a participating downtown restaurant or bar. To learn more about the Downtown Marquette Social District, visit: www.downtownmarquette.org/social-districts.
The Downtown Marquette Farmers Market will continue to accept a wide array of food assistance programs including EBT Bridge Card, P-EBT Card, Double Up Food Bucks, WIC Project FRESH, Sr. Project FRESH, and Food as Medicine vouchers.
